Adelaide Fringe 2011

Well its that time of the year again, when Adelaide awakes from it’s dormant state for the previous 11 months and fires up with plenty of entertainment to check out. Mainly lead by the Annual Fringe festival coming to town. This year Argon Design has had the privilege to work with a couple of local comedy acts for this years Fringe. Our first client Steven Copley was a previous client from leading software developing firm Nu Software. Little did we know the great man is also a comedian in his spare time! A couple of his teaser taglines are “Pets are just animals that can’t make it in the real world”, and “I have high principles and thats why I don’t eat vegetables. Because I won’t eat anything that hasn’t had a chance to run away” to give you a sense of what to expect with Stevens Deadpan style. With that quality work we here at Argon are all looking forward to catching Steven behind the mic!

Our second client was a referral from Steven (thanks Steven!) a couple of young guns Moataz and Amos who are presenting a duo comedy act titled ‘Background Check’. The boys have been closely guarding what topics the show covers (or maybe they still haven’t figured that out yet!) but just from our dealings with these two lads, they are definitely a laugh! They have also gone all out to make their shows a success ordering various sized posters and flyers, so if you’ve been about town lately know doubt you would have crossed a poster or two in your travels!

Don’t worry about paying premium prices to go see the same old acts, Peter Hellier, Arj Barker, Wil Anderson etc etc. Theres plenty of local talent in our own backyard at a great price too! The boys at Argon will be checking out both Steven & Moataz & Amos! For those interested details for both acts are below.
